The sea plays a special role in my life, starting with my childhood memories in the Crimea and ending with the realisation of my dream to work on a ship as an adult. The elements hypnotise and frighten me at the same time with their strength and power, and interacting with the marine world is like a meditative immersion in one's own emotions.
